Rafael Benitez Happy With Liverpool

So many fans of Rafael Benitez worried about the possible departure of the manager from Liverpool. There were write-ups saying that he might have a summer exit from Anfield after being the top target for Juventus following a not so good campaign with the team.

But then after the release of the write-ups, the agent of the manager came out to say or affirm that they have not received any offers and that the manager will most likely stay with Liverpool.

Benítez moved to Liverpool in 2004 after a disagreement between him and Valencia director on team investment occurred. So far, he has been handling the team well. In fact, because of his good management, the team has dominated the UEFA Champions League, won the FA Cup, and made it to the 2007 Champions League Final.

Because of the guidance of Benitez, the Valencia football team has also achieved a lot. The team has indeed won La Liga in the 2001–02 season, a significant league in 2004 and even UEFA Cup. While still with the team, he earned the Manager of the Year title from Don Balón and El País.

The Liverpool football team is just so fortunate to have Benitez. Well, the team also went through losing times but over-all the manager did well handling the team. It is just a good thing that his agent came out and said or confirmed that the manager will most likely stay with the team. It is indeed confirmed that Benitez is to remain at Anfield.

With the guidance of Benitez, Liverpool will have more wins or victories to celebrate and be just thankful for. But of course, there will be some troubles along the way and the other members of the team just have own role to play on this regard.

West Ham United – Another Popular Football Club

The West Ham United Football Club or more known just as West Ham United has been one of the popular football clubs mainly because of the achievements of the club itself.

Initially, the East London club played in the Southern League and Western League before 1919 when the club advanced to full Football League and then enjoyed top flight season promotion. In 1923, a lot of football enthusiasts were surprised how the club played in the FA Cup Final at Wembley. And the club in the next years continued to surprise a lot of fans with some good performances in some huge football events.

Right now, West Ham United competes in the Premier League. In the 2009–10 season of the well-known league, the club was only able to have the 17th position. With how they performed the past league season, some fans were indeed disappointed. But in 1998–99 season, the East London club finished fifth.

The club’s most recent manager was Gianfranco Zola, who replaced Alan Curbishley in 2008. For two seasons, the Italian indeed managed the club just right.

Well, at this point in time, the club is still without a manager. And sports betting firms are just trying to provide odds for the next West Ham United manager betting.

Currently, there are odds for Portsmouth manager as favorite to be the next West Ham United manager. There are also odds for former Hammer, Croatia boss. And there are also odds for ex-Blackburn and Manchester City gaffer.

The Portsmouth manager is the favorite to be the next manager of West Ham United after Zola. However, this is only when it comes to the betting that is going on. We don’t know who exactly is right to be the next manager of the East London club for the club’s officials. It maybe be someone else.
