Frank Lampard believes Didier Drogba can fire Chelsea to the Premier League title.
Lampard said: “This is a very important stage of the season. We are in good form and it is important we keep the run going.”
“We are fighting against top teams who keep getting results and it is down to us to keep winning. The good thing about being a little clear at the top is you can concentrate on yourself and not look over your shoulder too much. Now we can bring Didier and Salomon back in.”
“When they were away people outside the club spoke about us struggling, we never believed that. They are two great players who are big additions to the squad. We have done very well and now we will be even stronger.”
Hull were the opponents for Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti’s first league match in England. And the 50-year-old
coach believes he has developed a stronger understanding of the English game since then.
He added: “It was the first game, now we have played a lot of games and I have a good experience. I knew the top four, but small teams I did not know, now I have that experience. Hull are very capable with the long ball and we have to pay attention to set-pieces .”
