Final week marked the begin of Ole Miss Rebels journey leading to the 2010 football conference games. Former Offense Coordinator Kent Austin left inside early part of this yr to fill his post as head coach of Cornell University. Earlier, Barksdale had been arrested for DUI and driving with out a license. Then, last spring he committed a “violation of workforce rules” and was suspended. This time around, no reason was given for his dismissal other than that he was pressed to see to some personal issues.

Loads of folks among the some 400 guests watching the opening have been there to see Jeremiah Masoli, a former star football player of Oregon. A total of six awards have been obtained by him whilst there, amongst them the 2008 Holiday Bowl Most Valuable Player, the College Soccer Performance Awards of 2009 for Elite Nation and QB Performer as well as the School Football Awards of 2009 for Midseason Favorite. He was with that crew until 2009.
