Jeffrey Epstein On Old School Sports

Hi, I’m Jeffrey Epstein and old sports and venues is my passion.  You may ask me about the Forum at Staples Center at any day.  Yes, I am aware, the new venues are a fantastic ‘fan experience’ when it comes to buying a beer quickly or not having to stand in line to get into the restrooms.  However, my experience as a fan tells me that new arenas are certainly not created to be occupied by sports spectators.   Many Lakers games held in Staples Center I have attended to yet discovered great seats are situated like 13 rows from the court.  A view on the moon would be better.  Old arenas seating was vertically stacked, the brand new arenas are horizontally stacked so that 13 rows back means you are watching some mimes running around the floor.  You wouldn’t be able to hear sneakers, the whistles of the ref or even the trash talks everywhere.  Why any fan would want to see a game live at a venue escapes me.  TV offers a much better experience.

TV’s influence on the games also hurts the live venue experience.  Watching at home it is like non-stop action.  I’d consider watching live at venues being a stop and start experience.  The TV time outs just don’t stop, interrupting the flow of the game and damping the spectator experience.

Whenever Jeffrey Epstein watches a classic school beat down like that of the fresh Boston Celtics beating of the Miami Heat in the nth time, it never ceases to amaze him.  A sport I’ve always love and cheered on every flash was that of the Celtic veterans when they didn’t just out muscled and out hustled but outworked the star loaded Heat.    It turned out to be an awesome watch especially on the TNT coverage where the game was just amazing, not forgetting the part after the game when Charles Barkley and Kevin McHale performed some old school beat down techniques of fouling hard and showing what must be done to be a big guy in NBA.  It’s a game Lebron or Bosh or Wade never learned learn how to play yet somehow know very well what real sports is.

Each time Jeffrey Epstein sees that game where old school legend Brett Favre with his team was one step closer to the edge of victory in a must win game with a broken ankle, a split chin and his 41 years of existence, he always rejoice and gives a shout out to the man.  There can be many things to be irritated about when it comes to Brett Favre, but nobody can question his competitive spirit and the will to win.

Last but not the least, before this content ends, I would like to acknowledge the passing of the man who was defined for about ten years as the “enforcer” in the NBA, Mr. Maurice Lucas.  Maurice secured all of his teammates that opposing teams always find themselves paying the price for any shots they took.  Rest in Peace.

I am Jeffrey Epstein and my passion is old school sports. Always and forever.
